A macro tracking bot is a tool that helps you monitor your daily intake of macronutrients—proteins, fats, and carbohydrates—via WhatsApp. MAIN does offer tracking of Salt and fibre too as we believe in the importance of tracking these also.
You can set your dietary preferences and restrictions in your profile settings. The bot will consider these when providing feedback and recommendations.
In tests the macro tracking works best when weights are provided. So it’s always best to provide the weights of foods even if you are guesstimating. The macronutrient information comes from well established nutrition databases that are the industry standard for food tracking so it really is up to you and the information you input.
If you can't provide the exact weight, try to use common measurements to describe portions. For example, instead of saying you ate chicken and rice, you might say “I had a medium cereal bowl of rice and two medium chicken breasts”.
When in doubt, use familiar measurements like handfuls, pinches, teaspoons, or cups to give a rough idea of the portion size. If you went out for dinner try think of what you ate and how much of it.
If the food comes from a packet, estimate how much of the packet you ate, “half of the 200 gram pack” or one-third of the box and tell MAIN the weight listed on the packet.
MAIN uses AI which interprets your data e.g. activity levels, preferences etc and provides the best suggestions for you. MAIN lets you track your food and weight via a voice note. MAIN is integrated into WhatsApp which makes using it familiar and hasslefree. You can also interact with MAIN in a natural language manner, making it intuitive and easy to use. We make use of your data by giving you a personalised experience and remembering your preferences, like a nutritionist would.
We will provide two options. A free option where you can log 3 meals a day and a premium subscription option. The premium option will be priced at $10 per month

MAIN will always try to suggest meals that use wholefoods. If you have preferences, feed these into MAIN and it will provide suggestions accordingly.
We are not trying to tell you what foods are good or bad because most things are ok in moderation. MAIN refers to an extensive selection of Nutritional references to provide well rounded recommendations that promote healthy living.
